Painting Hyschanth

I currently have a solo exhibition at Harris Stanton Gallery in Akron, OH. I love asking which painting is their favorite at my openings. I'm curious which one triggers a reaction. This painting, while only measuring 20x16, packs a punch and was surely the most popular in my show! It is hung next to my large 60x80 diptych landscape yet is able to hold his own. For me, this may well be my best piece in the show - his shirt has been broken down into rectangular shapes; I added a floral print in the background to portray the sweetness of the character of my model, a gentle soul; he stares out at me sacrificing his image for the purpose of making art.
