Christine Ries' continuous exploration of color transcends subject matter and medium.  She moves from landscapes to still-lifes to figurative works fluidly, maintaining her recognizable style in each.  She incorporates her interest in textiles into many of her compositions, sometimes using a shapely mass of pattern to indicated the human form within.

Christine works in a variety of media including oils, gouache, acrylics and oil pastels.
